Yes, ComparePlants is completely free to use. We do not charge users for any information or features on the site.

Do you show real-time prices?

Not yet. We are currently working on integrating real-time price data from our retail partners through affiliate feeds. For now, we help you find which retailers stock each plant and link you directly to their websites where you can see current prices.

Do you sell plants directly?

No, ComparePlants does not sell plants directly. We are a discovery tool that helps you find plants at UK garden retailers. All purchases are made directly with the retailer.

How do you make money?

Accepted Answer

Some retailer links are affiliate links, mostly through the Awin network. If you buy after clicking one, the retailer pays us a small commission at no extra cost to you, and it never affects ranking or price. Nurseries can also pay for a Featured Nursery placement, which is always labelled as sponsored and never mixed into price comparison results. See our affiliate disclosure for full details.

Straight to the plant's own page on the retailer's website. Some of those links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if you buy — at no extra cost to you, and it never changes where a retailer appears in our results.

We currently compare live prices across 125 UK nurseries and garden retailers, including Crocus, Thompson & Morgan, Suttons, Primrose, Burncoose Nurseries, YouGarden, Ornamental Trees, Farmer Gracy, and more. We plan to add more retailers and independent nurseries as we grow.
